Authorities release more details as they search for man who shot vehicle in Oklahoma City

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle driven by a man that opened fire on a vehicle in northwest Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City police report that just after 8 p.m. June 12 a man was pulling out of Dollar General in the 1000 block of W. Hefner Road when a man at the curb began shooting at his vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was struck several times. Inside the vehicle were a 7-year-old child and a second adult. Neither was struck. The victim is expected to survive.

The shooter was later seen getting into a maroon Lexus GX 460. Anyone with information on the shooting or the vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
