Arrest warrant filed for man accused of molesting boy outside metro library
THE VILLAGE, Okla. (KOKH) —
An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of inappropriately touching a boy outside a metro library.
Oklahoma County court records show that the 32-year-old Aaron Waldon is wanted on one count of indecent or lewd acts with a child under 16. The warrant stems from a June 6 incident that occurred at The Village Library, 10307 N. Pennsylvania Ave.
Records show that a 14-year-old boy was using a computer at the library when Waldon sat next to him and asked him if he was interested in a summer job. The conversation continued and Waldon allegedly asked the boy to speak about it in his vehicle in the parking lot.
While in the vehicle, Waldon allegedly began to "massage" the boy. He then reportedly touched the boy around his knee and up his thigh. The boy told Waldon to stop and tried to get out of the vehicle but couldn't because it was locked. Court records allege Waldon then touched the boy's genitals.
The boy then punched Waldon and was able to get out of the car. Waldon then drove from the area. Police used a phone number Waldon gave the boy to identify him as the suspect.
The warrant for Waldon's arrest was filed Tuesday. His last known address was an apartment in Edmond. If you recognize him, contact The Village Police Department at 405-751-8861.
