Two people are dead Friday morning after a metro house fire.

Oklahoma City fire crews were called to the scene near SW 35th and Hudson around 3:30 a.m. Firefighters reported the home to be fully involved.

Fire officials say two men were found dead inside the home. A dog also reportedly died in the fire.

Norman fire crews are also assisting at the scene.

Investigators say there was no electricity at the home, and the two men appear to have been bringing electricity in from a structure next door. Fire officials say neighbors tell them the heat sources in the home were an oven, space heaters and a gas wall heater.

This brings the total number of fire fatalities in January to nine.
