Oklahoma City police say one person has been arrested following a stabbing at a metro nightclub.

Officers responded around 2 a.m. to Glam Nightclub in Bricktown following reports of the incident. Police say 28-year-old Toranio Boykins was stabbed in the arm and rushed to an area hospital.

Investigators believe the fight started inside the club and then spilled out on to Mickey Mantle Drive. Police were reportedly already nearby after another, unrelated, fight broke out in the club.

Witnesses reportedly pointed out the suspect and police took 29-year-old Antwan Wells into custody. Oklahoma City Police Officer Megan Morgan credited the witnesses for helping police make an arrest so quick.

"In this case, it appears the witnesses were the ones who solved this case for officers so quickly and were able to get this obviously violent suspect off the streets. Witnesses pointed out who the suspect was, explained what happened and later; a witness showed where the knife was," Morgan said.

Boykins suffered non-life threatening injuries. Wells will face complaints of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
