An exciting day for teachers and some students as school kicks off for Mid-Del Public Schools.

Mid-Del Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Rick Cobb has been making the rounds to schools across the district early Friday.

"All of the prep work we have done all summer long is here now," Cobb said.

Cobb said budget cuts will lead to larger class sizes at Midwest City High School and that the district was excited that the state eliminated end of instruction tests. Cobb offered a piece of advice for all students returning to school Friday.

"Listen to your teaches and you can't go wrong," Cobb said.
