Easy Overnight Oatmeal for Breakfast
Jennifer Like with the Oklahoma County Health Department joins Meg and Mitch to share an easy-to-prepare oatmeal breakfast.
Since this is back to school week for most of the other school districts in the metro let's do a recipe for easy back to school breakfast. When your trying to get the kids up and out the door there's no time to cook a healthy breakfast. Overnight oats is a great way to be sure you and your kids leave the house feeling full and ready to start the day!
BASE RECIPE:
- 1/2 CUP OLD FASHION ROLLED OATS
- 1/2 CUP MILK
- 1/4 CUP GREEK YOGURT
- 1 TSP HONEYBASE RECIPE:
- 1/2 CUP OLD FASHION ROLLED OATS
- 1/2 CUP MILK
- 1/4 CUP GREEK YOGURT
- 1 TSP HONEY
CHOOSE YOUR ADD INS:
- 1/2 CUP BLUEBERRIES WITH 2 TSP CHIA SEEDS
- 1/2 CUP DICED APPLES WITH 1 TSP CINNAMON
- 2 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER WITH 2 TBSP JELLY
- 1/2 MASHED RIPE BANANA TOPPED WITH 2 TBSP NUTS OF CHOICE IN MORNING
