Community Focus: "Tie Day" at Crutcho Middle School
The simplest task are taken for granted, but we're reminded through the eyes of young faces at Crutch Middle School in Midwest City.
Records show 330 elementary students at Crutcho Middle School are fatherless; and 20 percents are young boys. On Wednesday, 100 men volunteered their time to teach the students how to put on a tie. The young men were also given hygiene products at the end of their lesson.
This years marks the second year of the program, and organizers are hoping to add new lessons to the event next year. If you would like to get involved, please contact Crutch Middle School at (405)-427-3771 and ask to speak with D Miles.
