Severe weather risk across Oklahoma through Friday night
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
After a stormy morning, severe storms are still possible across southeast Oklahoma on Friday afternoon and evening. There is an enhanced risk for severe storms in far southeast Oklahoma.
Scattered storms are possible this afternoon in the Oklahoma City metro, but the severe weather threat is very low. Storms that develop south and east of Oklahoma City could produce large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
Storms will move out Friday night, much colder this weekend with highs in the upper 50s on Saturday. Winds will be strong from the north. A few spotty showers are possible on Saturday. Sunny and in the upper 60s on Sunday.
