Shelby Cashman helps you get to work on time every morning as traffic anchor of Good Day OK. She also anchors the FOX 25 News at 11 a.m. Before making the switch to the news desk, Shelby helped launch FOX 25's lifestyle show, "Living Oklahoma," co-hosting with Meg Alexander.
Before joining FOX 25, Shelby was an anchor and general assignment reporter at WCAX, the CBS affiliate in Burlington, Vermont. Before that, she was a TV host at WBFF, the FOX affiliate in Baltimore, MD. She got her start in TV covering high school sports for State Champs High School Sports Network in the metro Detroit area.
Though a New Jersey native, Shelby graduated with honors from The University of Michigan with a degree in Communication Studies. While she will forever GO BLUE, she has added plenty of crimson, cream, orange and black to her wardrobe. While at Michigan, Shelby was a sideline reporter for The Big Ten Network, covering some incredible Division 1 match ups on the front lines. She also interned for ESPN in both New York City and London, while studying abroad.
When you're not watching her on TV, you can find Shelby trying new restaurants or reading a good book in one of OKC's amazing coffee shops. She loves to cook, listen to live music and travel. Shelby is also a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. While she may have had to put away her skis for a little while after moving from Vermont, she has loved meeting many Oklahomans! If you see her, make sure to say hello!
