NORMAN — It looks like Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops will have a few more dollars in his pocket. The OU Board of Regents will discuss raising the salary of the Sooner head coach to $5 million next season. The raise would move Stoops salary in line with Charlie Strong of Texas and Kevin Sumlin at Texas A&M. Both make $5 million. Strong has yet to coach a game at Texas.By bumping Stoops salary up the regents are moving up his salary to the 2016 level where Stoops was scheduled to make $5 million.
