Sooners season ends
The Oklahoma Sooners season came to an end Thursday night with a 80-75 overtime loss to North Dakota State. The Sooners trailed most of the game as the Bison shot 53 percent for the game.
But with Cameron Clark hitting clutch buckets the Sooners came on late to lead the game and appear on their way to the second round of the tournament. But missed free throws and Lawrence Alexander's three pointer with 11 seconds left tied things at tied things at 66.
In overtime NDSU outscored Oklahoma 14-9 to get their first NCAA Tournament win ever and advance to play either San Diego State or New Mexico State. Alexander led all scorers with 30 points while Cam Clark led the Sooners with 25 in his last game as a Sooner.
Oklahoma only hit 34 percent of their shots. They end the year at 23-10.
