      Sooners Hungry For More

(NORMAN)-{} Oklahoma Head Coach Bob Stoops and company met with members of the media Tuesday evening, and one thing was clear as day, he's well past the Sugar Bowl.

"I love spring ball," said Stoops. "Every year is a new year. That's gone. I'm on next year. I don't feel any different than I usually feel."

Sure, last season is last season. But, defeating Alabama (45-31) in the Sugar Bowl was a surprise to many, and now, there is a certain buzz surrounding Oklahoma football that hasn't been felt in several years.

"Facing adversity, everybody counting us out, that right there was one of the major driving forces of last season," said Sooners defensive end Geneo Grissom.

"Yeah the Sugar Bowl was great, but I want a national championship before I leave, " said OU defensive tackle Chuka Ndulue. "I just want to win it all and not lose a single game, make the playoffs this year and just go about my business.

Yup, the Sooners got a taste, and now, they're hungry."If I'm going to play Alabama next year, it's going to be for the crystal ball," Ndulue said.

Oklahoma's Spring Game is set for Saturday, 2 p.m., at Gaylord Memorial Stadium.
