Sooners fall short of No. 9 Baylor

Like so many games this season Oklahoma came close to a win but fell short Tuesday night.

Oklahoma lost to No. 9 Baylor in Waco 60-54.

The loss was the Sooners' 10th this season by six points or less.

The Sooners never got an offensive rhythm, hitting just 33 percent of their shots. Kameron McGusty scored 13 points to lead the Sooners in scoring.

Just like when the two teams played in Norman back in December, OU had trouble containing Baylor's inside strength.

The Bears were able to control the rebounding with Jonathan Motley leading the way with 21 points and 16 rebounds.

Oklahoma is back home Saturday afternoon for a 5:00 game against Kansas State.
