As we count down the minutes to the 2017 college football season, everyone is picking their favorites to win it all.

Many national pundits see Oklahoma as the team in the Sooner State with the best shot of making the final four, with their Cowboy counterparts finishing within the top 15.

Sports Illustrated tweeted this cover out with a story saying Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph is ready to lead the Cowboys to the CFB. In the site's preseason rankings, Oklahoma State starts the year at No. 4 behind only Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State.

SI also rated both Rudolph and wide receiver James Washington inside its top 100 players in the nation.

Oklahoma ranked No. 6 on the list.
