Work continues for OSU Quarterbacks
STILLWATER — In case you've been in a cave you know Oklahoma State has a quarterback battle going on with one experienced and the other two hoping to get on the field and gain that experience. J.W. Walsh spent part of last season as the Cowboys starter and figures to be the leading contender to get the job this season. But Cowboy head coach Mike Gundy says that Daxx Garman will get snaps when they play their season opener against defending national champ Florida State. And not to be forgotten is Mason Rudolph, a talented freshmen out of South Carolina.Second year offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich will play a role in the success of the position and he admits for Walsh and Garman being familiar with his style will be a factor."Anytime you get another year to know somebody whether its your wife or your quarterbacks you're going to get to know them a little better. I think it helps with communication. And really the big word is trust."
