Many Oklahoma State football fans spent time wondering if head coach Mike Gundy would consider the Texas coaching vacancy. It turns out they should have been worried about offensive line coach Joe Wickline. Yahoo Sports is reporting that Wickline is leaving Oklahoma State take over the offensive line coaching duties at the University of Texas.
Wickline has been at OSU since 2005. He's been credited with building some very good offensive lines at Oklahoma State. Levy Adcock and Russell Okune are two All American's who performed under Wickline's direction.
New Texas coach Charlie Strong has now filled most of his staff but has not named an offensive coordinator.
