Tough times continued for the Oklahoma State Cowboy basketball team. The Cowboys lost at Baylor 70-64 in overtime. It's the 7th straight loss for the Cowboys, who fell to 16-10 overall and 4-9 in the Big 12.
OSU got the game into overtime when freshmen Leyton Hammonds stole a Baylor inbounds pass and hit a three pointer at the buzzer to tie the game at 58 all. But Baylor took the lead in the extra period on a three pointer by Cory Jefferson. Jefferson was the big bear for Baylor. He scored 25 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had three blocks.
Markel Brown led OSU with 26 points and six assists while Phil Forte added 20 points. OSU could not compete on boards as Baylor outrebounded the Cowboys 50-36.
