The Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 93-40 win over Utah Valley Monday night in Stillwater. The Cowboys had six players in double figure scoring with a couple of guard's leading the way. Phil Forte hit 4 of 8 three pointers to lead the way with 19 points while freshmen guard Stevie Clark was next with 16 points. Marcus Smart had a nice stat line with 14 points four assists and nine steals.
The Cowboys led by 25 at the half and really turned things on in the second half by holding the Wolverines to just 15 points in route to the 53 point win. OSU won the rebounding battle 43-31. OSU head coach Travis Ford cleared his bench and everyone got to see action.
The Cowboys will likely get their first real test when they play Memphis November 19th.
