Oklahoma State opens season against defending champions Florida State

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are kicking their season off with the eyes of the nation upon them as they play the defending champions Florida State in Dallas.Two years ago, the Cowboys and Seminoles scheduled this game and, while it was always pegged to be a big matchup, it may not have been anticipated that it would be this big. Florida State comes into Dallas with a national championship, undefeated season last year, and a Heisman winner in Jameis Winston. On the Cowboy's side of the ball, Phil Steele's College Football Magazine says OSU has the lowest returning letter winners of teams in a power conference. After wrapping the season in the Cotton Bowl last year, 28 seniors graduated and the team lost 13 starters. Mike Gundy has said as many as 8 freshman could line up Saturday night in Dallas.Fox 25's Sam Gannon is in Dallas for the opener.
