Oklahoma State guard arrested for marijuana possession in Edmond

A freshman point guard on the Oklahoma State basketball team started the new year in jail after he was arrested during a traffic stop in Edmond.

Stevie Clark was arrested around 10:00 AM Wednesday in Edmond for marijuana possession.

An Edmond officer pulled over a vehicle heading north on I-35 at 33rd street for a seatbelt violation. Edmond Police spokeswoman Jenny Monroe says the freshman point guard was a passenger in the car when it was pulled over.

The responding officer determined there was marijuana in the car and arrested Clark and the driver. By 3:30 Wednesday, Clark was out of jail.
