NEW YORK CITY — Marcus Smart is ready for Thursday night's NBA Draft. The former OSU basketball star is expected to be among the top picks in the first round after two years in Stillwater. He's spent the past few months working out for various teams. Some of the teams he visited multiple times as they tried to get a feel how the 6-3 220 pound point guard would fit into their team. Some of the workouts were long and the questions could be deemed intrusive but Smart knows its just part of the business of basketball.I've enjoyed every bit of this process," said Smart.. " This happens once is a lifetime and you never get this back. You gotta enjoy it. I feel like I can play with anyone. Whoever you put in the backcourt with me we're going to compete and we're gong to give our team a chance to win." Orlando is one of the teams that worked out Smart more than once and many feel the Magic could grab him with the 4th pick. There is a feeling they would have taken Smart in last years draft with the 2nd pick in the draft had he been available.
