With three games left in the regular season the Oklahoma State Cowboys find themselves in the hunt for a Big 12 Championship. The Cowboys next opponent is Texas, who along with Baylor, are undefeated in conference. The Longhorns have also won their last six games in a row after getting off to a slow start to begin the season.
The Longhorns latest win was an overtime win at West Virginia. But you wouldn't know it because Longhorn head coach Mack Brown spent a good portion of his press conference talking about OSU and their quarterback situation that started with J.W. Walsh and evolved into current starter Clint Chelf.
"What J.W. brought to them was the option," said Brown. "But you go back and look at the Texas Tech game and Chelf just took off on a quarterback draw and ran 60 yards and he looked really fast."
Brown was quick to add that Chelf is not just a runner. "His ability to throw the ball makes them really tough. This will probably be the most balanced team we've played all season on offense."
Saturday's game is in Austin. The Cowboys have won the last two times they've played on the Longhorns home field.
