Tuesday was the first cut down day in the NFL. Rosters had to be down to 75. There were some Oklahomans who found their way on the cut list.
Sam Bradford was not released by the St. Louis Rams but former high school teammate was put on the injured reserve list just like Bradford, who's out for the season with a torn ACL. Running back Deji Karim, who played with Bradford at Putnam North High School, was put on the IR list by the Indianapolis Colts.
Several ex-OU Sooners got bad news. Keenan Clayton by Arizona, Brennan Clay by Denver, Jaz Reynolds and Gabe Ikard by Tennessee were all released.
Johnny Thomas by Dallas and Daytawion Lowe by Philadelphia among the OSU Cowboys released. All NFL rosters must be down to 53 by Saturday.
