STILLWATER — Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the NFL Draft. The Browns picked Gilbert 8th overall.Gilbert wanted to come out after his junior season but came back and had an All American senior season. He was a finalist for the Thorpe Award, which goes to the top defensive back in college football.He had six interceptions last season which was fourth nationally plus he returned two of those for touchdowns. Gilbert is the sixth Cowboy to be drafted in the first round since 2009. That leads the Big 12 Conference. The draft continues over the next two nights.
