Cowboys, Sooners unchanged in AP, Sooners climb in USA Today

The first week of the 2013 College Football season is in the books and the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys both fared well, winning their games, and maintain their respect with the voters.

The Cowboys, retained the number 13 ranking in the Associated Press Poll and number 14 spot in the USA Today Poll after beating Mississippi State 21-3.

The Sooners also retained their AP ranking as the 16th ranked team after blanking Louisiana-Monroe 34-0. Thanks to blowout win, the USA TOday moved them up from 16 to 15, leapfrogging the Texas Longhorns.

The OSU Cowboys remain the Big 12's top ranked team in both polls heading into week two. See the full rankings below:
