The Oklahoma State Cowboys improved to 3-0 with a 97-63 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff Friday night. The Cowboys got 22 points from Markel Brown and Phil Forte. Forte hit 6 of 7 three pointers while Brown got 15 of his points in the first half. The Cowboys hit 10-25 three's as a team.
OSU shot 53 percent for the game and outrebounded UAPB 0-26. Marcus Smart was the only other Cowboy in double figure scoring with 16 points. OSU is now 22-0 against the SWAC which includes a 117-62 win over Mississippi Valley State to open the season.
Friday's win sets up the Cowboys for their first real test when they host Memphis Tuesday night at Gallagher Iba Arena.
