DALLAS — Conference media days are generally the time that fans start to looking ahead to the upcoming college football season. Coaches and players make news talking about their upcoming season and generally the comments are positive. Day one of Big 12 Media Day featured Commissioner Bob Bowlsby firing pointed comments toward the NCAA and the problem's he see's with college athletic's governing body.Bowlsby's comments concerning playing by the rules drew the most attention when he said "cheating pays" and that he doesn't forsee things getting better in the future.
"Enforcement is broken," according to Bowlsby. "The infractions committee hasn't had hearing in almost a year.". He also talked about the lawsuits facing the NCAA saying he's against unionization of college athletes and that athletes are not employees.
