Bedlam week is officially underway in Norman and Stillwater. Oklahoma will take their football team to Oklahoma State this weekend which means the work at both camps is underway for Saturday's game. An OSU win would give them their second Big 12 Championship and a trip to the Fiesta Bowl for the second time in the last three years. Even though the Sooners can't win their 9th conference title under head coach Bob Stoops they still have a chance at their 12th ten win season under Stoops with the win.
Both teams had last weekend off which should benefit both teams, according to OSU head coach Mike Gundy.
I think it's good for everybody. I don't think there's any question that when you have a bye week that it's good for players to kind of rehabilitate their bodies and take a break not only physically, but mentally."
Weather could be a factor with temperatures expected to be in the teens around kickoff.
"It's a little bit tough. It's football though," said Sooner running back Brennan Clay Clay added, "I don't think it necessarily hinders us on the field."
Stoops added that he thinks the wind is a bigger factor than the cold. Kickoff for Saturday's game is 11 AM.
