The Oklahoma City Thunder stopped a two game losing streak and they did it with defense. After giving up an average of 116 points per game in their last two loses, the Thunder beat the Houston Rockets 106-98.
Kevin Durant lad the way with 42 points while Russell Westbrook added 24 points, seven assists and four steals.
The game had its chippy moments with Westbrook and Rockets guard Patrick Beverly getting tangled up a couple of times but in the end nothing came of it. Oklahoma City will host the L.A. Lakers Thursday night at 8:30.
