The Oklahoma City Thunder improved their record to 40-11 with a 106-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kevin Durant led OKC with 26 points while Reggie Jackson added 20.
Minnesota played the game without two key members of its front line. Center Nikola Pekovic missed the game with an ankle injury while Kevin Love was ruled out right before the game after taking a nasty fall the night before in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The game also had an unusual moment at the end of the third quarter. Thunder guard Derek Fisher fired a three point shot from the corner that went over the basket but was tipped in by Minnesota's Gorgui Dieng at the rim. Fisher was awarded the three points.
