The Oklahoma City Thunder were beaten by the New Orleans Pelicans 101-89 at Smoothie King Arena. The loss kept the Thunder from clinching the second seed in the Western Conference playoff picture.
Tyreke Evans poured in 41 points to lead the Pelicans, who had lost ten straight games to the Thunder. Oklahoma City was led by Serge Ibaka, who scored 22 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and dished out five assists. Kevin Durant added 25 points in a losing effort.
Reggie Jackson started in place of Russell Westbrook, who does not play in back to back games. Jackson, who was questionable after injuring his neck in Sunday's loss at Indiana, was just 1-7 from the field and finished with four points.
The Thunder can wrap up the second seed in the West by beating Detroit at home Wednesday.
