The Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns engaged in a scoring fest at U.S. Airways Arena in Phoenix. If you're a Thunder fan you may have enjoyed the action but you hated the result as the Suns won the game 128-122.
The loss overshadowed a great effort by Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Westbrook scored 36 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Durant was next with 34 points and 7 assists. OkC put up 41 points in the first quarter and led by as many as 16 point in the second half but the Suns kept coming.
Gerald Green was the ringleader. Green, who signed with Oklahoma State out of high school but never played for the Cowboys during the Eddie Sutton era, scored 41 points. He got 25 of them in the 3rd quarter. The Suns hit 15 of 27 three pointers to fuel their comeback.
