The Dallas Mavericks won a scoring fest over the Oklahoma City Thunder 128-119 in overtime. The teams combined to hit 27 three point shots with Dallas nailing 15 and Oklahoma City 12. The big point producers were the usual suspects. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 43 points while Russell Westbrook returned after a one game absence to score 23 points and pass out eight assists.
The Thunder also got good bench production with 41 points. Derek Fisher leading that group with 13. But all those numbers couldn't overcome the Mavericks, who were led by Dirk Nowitzki 32 points 10 rebounds 6 assists and four steals.
The loss by Oklahoma City drops them to three games behind San Antonio in the loss column as those two teams battle for the best record in the Western Conference.
