OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up three players in the first two rounds of Thursday's NBA Draft. With the 21st pick the Thunder selected 6-10 forward Mitch McGary out of Michigan. McGary was a preseason All American, but missed the final 27 games due to a back injury. He planned to return to Michigan but a failed drug test would mean he'd miss all of next season so he entered the draft. The Thunder also took Stanford small forward Josh Huestis with the 29th pick. The 6-7, 230 pounder has a nice defensive skills but most thought he'd go in the 2nd round. In the second round, the Thunder picked up Xavier guard Semaj Christon. Christon was originally picked up by Miami at 55th overall. He was then acquired by the Charlotte Hornets in a trade before being traded to the Thunder in exchange for cash considerations.
