When you're truly in love with a sport, the marriage never really ends.

Just look at 43-year-old Josh Davis.

He swam in two Olympic Games, winning three gold medals in 1996 in Atlanta. He then went on to be the team captain for the United States swim team in 2000, where he won two silver medals.

Davis reached the pinnacle of the sport twice. Nothing left to prove, right? Maybe, but when you're a five-time Olympic medalist and have competed on the world's biggest stage, you always have something to prove to yourself.

Davis, a San Antonio native, who now lives in Edmond with his wife Shantel and six children, continues to make swimming his life's work. This time, making his debut as a head coach.

Fox 25 sports anchor/reporter Sam Gannon has the story.
