California: Flash flooding and rescue
A sudden rainstorm caused flash flooding in Los Angeles County Thursday afternoon.
The high waters drowned roads and trapped vehicles and people in a river of mud.
Officials say the flooding was at least three-feet deep in parts of the town.
Some intersections were completely washed out.
A metro-link train, carrying about 200 passengers was stopped... Due to water sweeping away a section of track.
A helicopter crew rescued a man stuck in his work truck in the middle of a flooded roadway.
There are no reports of any significant injuries thus far.
Local forecasters say southern California could see more rain Friday.
