Kaleb Gabriel Stivers, 28, has been wanted on a warrant of trafficking illegal drugs (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia since May 15, 2017.

Court records show on Feb. 28 Edmond Police Department officers were called to Kohl's, 2201 W. Danforth. Officers were notified that a suspect had stolen items from the store Feb. 27 and left them in the truck. The truck was then left in the parking lot overnight.

Police were called after a separate truck arrived on scene and appeared to be working on the suspect's truck. As officers arrived the two vehicles fled the scene. Both vehicles were eventually stopped. While stopped a K9 performed a sniff on the vehicle and allegedly alerted to the presence of narcotics.

"As they were leaving, that's when Edmond police showed up, pulled over both vehicles in the parking lot," Mark Opgrande with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said. "They searched the truck and that's when they found heroin, some other drugs and some drug paraphernalia."

While searching the vehicle police found a black bag with numerous pill bottles. Inside the bottles, police found heroin, morphine, Butalbital and various other prescription drugs.

Ashley Huff is also wanted for drug trafficking as one of the drivers.

Stivers was allegedly one of the occupants of the vehicle.

In a case involving several types of drugs, the sheriff's office said they want this activity to stop and to find these suspects.

"You have I-35, I-44 and I-40, which is considered the crossroads of America," Opgrande said. "So at any one time you have drugs running back and forth just through the state so it's a very big hotbed for this stuff."

Stivers is described as 5-feet, 3-inches tall and around 135 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last known to live in the area of the 3500 block of NW 28 Street.
