Byron Lynn Harper, 46, was wanted on a complaint of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and violation of a Victim Protective Order. The warrant was filed July 3.
Court records show that on June 17 Midwest City police were called to the 900 block of N. Lilac Lane in reference to an assault and battery.
Witnesses on scene told police that Harper was standing in the driveway of a woman's home. The woman has a protective order against Harper and he asked to speak with her. The woman stated no and Harper asked the two men with her to leave. When the men didn't leave, Harper allegedly picked up a five gallon bucket full of water and threw it at the woman, striking her in the head.
One of the men then punched Harper and he fled the scene on foot.
Harper turned himself into authorities August 14 and entered a not guilty plea in the case.
