University of Georgia maps Waffle Houses in solar eclipse path
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - A geographer at the University of Georgia, plans to follow the August 21 solar eclipses by traveling to Waffle Houses in the line of totality, according to a report by the Atlanta Consitution Journal.
The report says that Jerry Shannon tweeted studying eclipses made him hungry complete with a map of all the waffle houses in the line of totality.
Joshua Stevens, an earth data visualization and cartography lead for NASA tweeted a hilarious map of places to see both the solar eclipse and Sasquatch, according to the story.
The AJC said that Waffle House then tweeted a PSA for any Bigfoot thinking of stopping by the establishment on Aug. 21.
