USPS starting new service to fight mail theft
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
The United States Postal Service is stepping up its game to fight mail thefts.
The new service "Informed Delivery" is offered free online. The post office will scan letters, excluding junk mail, to let people sign in and see exactly what mail they should receive that day.
While the program won't prevent theft, the idea is to empower you to be aware when something is missing and take action.
