A vote to confirm Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the EPA is slated for Friday on the Senate floor.
Senators have been on the floor all night discussing President Donald Trump's nominee. On Thursday night, Senator James Lankford spoke on behalf of his fellow Oklahoman.
Pruitt is expected to be confirmed by the Senate at 12 p.m. CT.
