Woman arrested in connection with October 2017 murder near Gore
SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) -- A Gore woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with an October 2017 murder.
Elizabeth Nicole Stewart, 25, was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail for first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
According to the sheriff's office, Joshua Tucker was shot to death Oct. 26 at a home north of Gore. He was found in a neighbor's driveway with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Tucker was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he died.
Sheriff Larry Lane says investigators spent months working on the case, which resulted in a first-degree murder warrant for Stewart who was arrested at home without incident.
