Police hope to identify two men they believe are behind armed robberies at two metro auto parts stores.

"They've hit two AutoZone stores in northwest Oklahoma City and they've hit one in another municipality here in the metro," Oklahoma City Police Department MSgt. Gary Knight said.

Police have released video of the armed robbery April 11 at Auto Zone, 1328 NW 23 Street. During the robbery, two men enter the store armed with handguns. The men then force the store manager and an employee into a back room to open the safe. The men then order the employees to open the register.

Two customers were in the store at the time of the robbery and were forced to get on the ground face down.

"We're hoping that somebody out there will recognize them whether by the clothes they're wearing, the way they move, maybe even the type of weapon you see displayed," Knight said.

Police believe the two men are responsible for the April 4 armed robbery of the Auto Zone located at 6444 Northwest Expressway.

Anyone with information on the men is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
