Two arrested for human trafficking following prostitution arrests
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Two people face human trafficking complaints following a prostitution arrest in Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City Police Department reports show that Ryan Wright, 29, and Amber Clement, 31, were both arrested August 25 on complaints of human trafficking. A third person, 28-year-old Kristi Hammons, was also arrested with the pair on a complaint of offering to engage in an act of prostitution.
Officers with the Vice Enforcement Unit made contact with Clement and Hammons through an internet ad. They then met at Days Inn Motel, 8217 S. I-35 Highway. The women then allegedly agreed to perform a sexual act for $300. They were then arrested and taken into custody.
Wright was arrested at a later time in connection to the case. He also faces a complaint of conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of proceeds in violation of UCDSA.
Clement also faces a complaint of conspiracy to commit a felony.
