OHP Bomb Squad finds homemade bomb at house where deputies were serving warrants
BERRYHILL, Okla. (KTUL) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's Bomb Squad has recovered a homemade bomb at a home in Berryhill Thursday afternoon.
According to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, deputies were serving search warrants for stolen cars at two homes within a block of each other near West 25th Street and South 61st West Avenue. TCSO says it appeared the suspects were moving cars from home to home to sell off parts.
While at the second home, deputies discovered a suspicious looking device and called in the OHP bomb squad to investigate.
The bomb squad says they discovered two components for a homemade explosive.
Tulsa County deputies arrested 34-year-old Brandon Walker and 33-year-old Jared Reeder at the home. They have been booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
This is a developing story.
