Suspects break into towing business, steal vehicle

Police have released video of a vehicle being stolen from an Oklahoma City towing business.

The Oklahoma City Police Department released video of the May 15 burglary at Oklahoma Towing and Recovery, 6632 Melrose Lane. Police say two suspects broke into the business at approximately 5:57 a.m. through an unlocked door.

The men can be seen going through vehicles on the lot and stealing items from tool chests. One of the suspects then gains entry to a vehicle parked inside a shop at the business. The suspect was able to start the car, because the key was left on the dash, and drive it out of the shop. The two suspects then use the vehicle to ram open the gate and leave the area.

Police reports show the stolen vehicle was being stored at the business awaiting to be shipped to New York.
