Study: Oklahoma is 5th least green state in 2017

A new study says Oklahoma is one of the least green states in the country.

According to WalletHub's 2017 Greenest States Study, the Sooner State ranks 46th in eco-friendliness.

The study ranked states according to several metrics including air quality, water quality, energy-efficiency and others. According to the study, Oklahoma ranked 32nd in Air Quality, 41st in Energy Consumption per Capita and 48th in Water Quality.

WalletHub's study ranked Vermont, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington and Connecticut as the five greenest states of 2017.
