OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Strong storms have led to thousands of outages in the Oklahoma City metro.
OG&E reports that as of 12:20 p.m. June 12 over 9,800 customers are without power system-wide. The majority of those outages are coming in Forest Park, with over 3,500, and Arcadia, which has seen 2,800 customers without power. By 1:30 p.m. outages had dipped below 2,000 customers as crews worked to restore power.
Several hundred customers in Oklahoma City were also without power. The outages came as strong storms moved through central Oklahoma from northeast Oklahoma.
