Shots fired call leads OKCPD to girl firing at rooster
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police say a teenage girl and a rooster led to a large response Friday morning.
A shots fired call around 1:30 a.m. led to a heave police presence near SW 31st and Villa. Officers were cautious because they weren't sure if the girl was firing at officers.
Police say they saw the girl come out on a porch with a gun. It was later determined she was firing a shot every time a rooster crowed.
The girl's father reportedly told officers the girl is a heavy sleeper and did not hear officers calling for her to come outside.
Police say no arrests were made, however firing a gun in city limits is a misdemeanor.
