Protestors were escorted from the Oklahoma Capitol after unraveling a 'State of Despair' banner during Governor Mary Fallin's State of the State address.

Governor Fallin touted the "Step Up Oklahoma" plan for several minutes during her eighth and final State of the State address. The plan was proposed by a group of community and business leaders to fund education, public safety, health and infrastructure needs.

Following the end of her speech, protestors dropped a banner from the gallery of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The banner featured a drawing of Fallin's face and read "Oklahoma State of Despair".

The protesters could be heard yelling "You are a murderer!" and "You are a liar" before being escorted out.
